Reprobates not allowed

New Local Church Ad

I had to post this ad from our local paper or few people outside the Bible belt would believe me. I’m still not sure if they’re selling a building for use as a church of their liking or trying to recruit new members to fill a church they’re starting. In either case this ad just fills my heart with warm fuzzy feelings and an irresistable urge to run down the aisle on Sunday to throw myself on the altar.

To all who are wrestling with faith/church/God issues, I apologize for #$%holes like this.

I’m looking to see whether Jesus needed letters of recommendation when John the Baptist’s disciples joined with his..hmmm, so far, not seeing them..

i beleive that posting an add to recurit members for your biblical army is simply foolish and offensive. I dont understand how running dow the isle and throwing yourself at the alter grants you some sort of spiritual enlightenment.

Sam, apparently my comments are not clear enough for you. This is not my ad, only one that ran in my local paper. My comments about running down the aisle were clearly “tongue-in-cheek.” I apologize if my sacrcasm is over your head.
